1. Position Overview
Apex Medical Systems is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Expert
(Sales Manager) to lead growth initiatives in the healthcare and medical equipment domain. The
ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pharma, Biomedical, or related fields, combined
with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
This role requires proactive engagement with hospitals, healthcare providers, and key stakeholders,
with a focus on expanding market presence and driving sales performance.
2. Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute strategic sales and business development plans
• Identify and onboard new clients, particularly hospitals and healthcare institutions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, procurement teams, and hospital
administrators
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth execution of sales processes
• Prepare reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management
3. Candidate Requirements
• Educational Background
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
• Pharmacy
• Biomedical Engineering
• Life Sciences
• Or equivalent relevant field
• Experience
• Proven experience in medical sales, pharma sales, or healthcare business development
• Prior experience working with hospitals or medical institutions preferred
4. Key Skills & Competencies
• Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and achieve targets
• Customer-centric mindset with relationship-building capability
• Good understanding of healthcare ecosystem and medical products5. Language Requirements
• English (Fluent) – Mandatory
• Marathi (Proficient) – Mandatory
• Kannada (Proficient) – Highly Preferred
6. Travel Requirements
• Must be open to frequent travel to hospitals and healthcare facilities across Pune and nearby
regions
• Willingness to travel across Maharashtra and Karnataka as required
