The team is responsible for updating and maintaining the scientifically sound profiles of drugs and drugs related information since inception of the molecule. This information is vital for the customers/stake holders (pharmaceutical industry, R&D, medicos) as it provides comprehensive information about the current pharmaceutical industry scenario and thus helps our customers/stake holders to continuously improve their business response time and revenue stream.

 

 

About the Role (what’s in it for the candidate)

The Scientific & Medical Writer will curate and validate content for AdisInsight and AskAdisAI, through summarization of key drug development milestones from multiple sources like trial registries and media releases. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional to advance their career in pharmaceutical intelligence, contributing to high-level strategic decisions for global pharma organizations.

 

Role Responsibilities:

• Create and validate content for AdisInsight and AskAdisAI

• Consolidate information from multiple sources like studies published in leading medical journals, posted on trial registry websites, information from media releases, etc

• Understanding of Pharma / Medical / Clinical trials terminologies

• Identify key data and input information into predefined fields / tables accurately including status, phase, design, endpoints, treatments and results as well as a timeline of key trial events, etc.

• Write accurate and concise summaries that capture the key elements from published reports / updates

• To contribute/support the project through query resolution of peer team members

• To perform other responsibilities delegated by the team lead/manager

• Provide guidance to less experienced team members

 

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Lifesciences/ Pharmacy/Medicine

• Minimum 3 years of total experience and minimum 2 years of relevant experience in biotech, pharmaceutical or clinical research organization

• Strong English-language and scientific writing skills, with a strong understanding of drug development and clinical research, and literature reviewing and evaluation capabilities

• Strong quality/process improvement mindset and customer perspective: ○ Task level: high level of quality in regular content creation and updating tasks ○ Profile and Product level: able to view quality holistically from a user perspective

• Logical & critical thinking, with careful attention to detail

 

Desirable

• Preference will be given to candidates previously trained and experienced in AdisInsight Drugs/RDI content curation, to at least standard Scientific & Medical Writer and ideally Senior level
