Senior Accountant

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions for a real estate development company. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in taxation, project finance, and day-to-day financial operations within a builder/developer environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage books of accounts using Tally
• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax filings, and ensure full statutory compliance
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow statements
• Manage banking transactions, reconciliations, and loan accounts
• Coordinate with banks/financial institutions for project finance and working capital requirements
• Prepare project reports, CMA data, and financial documentation for funding proposals
• Maintain proper documentation, records, and filing systems for all financial transactions
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, vendor payments, and client billing
• Assist in audits (internal & statutory) and liaise with auditors/consultants
• Use Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools for reporting and analysis
• Support overall financial planning and budgeting for projects

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of accounting experience (preferably in real estate / construction / developer firms)
• Strong working knowledge of Tally, GST, TDS, and taxation laws
• Experience in project finance documentation and bank coordination
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Should be able to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities

Preferred Candidates:

• Residing within a reasonable commuting distance from the office
• Prior experience with builder/developer firms
