Senior Electrician

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Electrician with experience in industrial control panel wiring and assembly. The candidate will be responsible for panel wiring, component mounting, cable dressing, testing support, and ensuring quality workmanship as per electrical drawings and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out wiring of PLC, MCC, PCC, VFD, APFC, and control panels as per approved electrical drawings.
• Mount electrical components such as MCBs, MCCBs, contactors, relays, terminals, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and power supplies.
• Perform cable cutting, ferruling, lugging, crimping, and termination.
• Ensure proper cable routing, dressing, and panel housekeeping.
• Read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and GA drawings.
• Assist in panel testing, troubleshooting, and quality inspections.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with design and production teams for smooth project execution.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned work while maintaining quality standards.
• Required SkillsAbility to read electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Hands-on experience in industrial control panel wiring.
• Knowledge of electrical components and panel assembly practices.
• Proficiency in cable termination, ferruling, and crimping.
• Understanding of electrical safety standards and practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Educational QualificationITI Electrician (Mandatory) / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Additional certifications related to electrical work will be an advantage.
• Experience2–3 years of experience in control panel manufacturing, electrical panel wiring, or industrial automation projects.
• Preferred ExperienceWiring of PLC, HMI, VFD, MCC, PCC, and control panels.
• Exposure to Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Allen-Bradley, or Mitsubishi components.
• Experience in panel testing and troubleshooting.
