Role Description

• An Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and support a strategic US Finance Regulatory Reporting platform for the Bank. Join us and you will be on the front lines of transformation for this domain - leveraging cutting edge open-source technologies and highly collaborative agile processes to deliver valuable business solutions that you can be proud of.
• You will share your passion for technical excellence and engage the full depth of your engineering skills in a diverse cross functional team that partners with business and technology experts globally to develop innovative solutions to complex business problems.
• You will engage with a rich platform that interfaces Axiom Regulatory Reporting tool, Java, Python frameworks, React and Angular UIs and Oracle databases as well as Big Data processing with Scala and Spark.
• You will find opportunities for learning are plenty as the team explores new innovations such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as well as moving onto Google Cloud.

Your key responsibilities

• Microservices development using Spring, Spark.
• UI development using Angular / React.
• Should have knowledge on BDD framework and unit testing.
• Analyze incidents for root cause and update platforms and automation to eliminate problems.
• Provide support to application development teams in product and performance selection.
• L3 team support for PROD and UAT incident.
• Should have knowledge on PL / SQL, Spring, Control-M / AirFlow to schedule Job's
• Be able to undertake development work within an Agile work environment.
• Positive “solution based” work ethic.
• Writing complex SQL in Oracle.

Your skills and experience

• Must have 10+ years of strong experience into Oracle database, PL/SQL and performance turning
• Experience and Expertise in Java, Spring, Spark (Hadoop), Angular / React
• Experience in Oracle SQL
• DevOps, Bash / KSH Shell Scripting
• Good written and spoken English plus
• Knowledge of database scripting and automation technologies
• + Control-M / Apache AirFlow
• + Google Cloud
