Software Development Engineer

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Develop & test software in accordance with Flow Controls engineering, software development processes, and cybersecurity standards using manual test techniques and developing automated test software and script. 
• Maintaining other internal software applications involving complex calculations.
• Review product specifications and implement complex equations in code.
• Perform technical support activities as assigned
• Maintaining Systems and Software Integration
• Assist with other project activities as assigned by management

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Hands on experience with programming languages (e.g. C#, Web Api, .Net Core)
• Hands on experience with front-end languages for desktop applications (e.g. WPF using MVVM framework)
• Hands on experience with front-end languages for web applications - Angular, Typescript
• Hands on experience in graphQL, SQL server database, Entity framework, Dapper.
• Hands on software test skills (unit testing - xunit)
• Working knowledge of version control (e.g. Microsoft Team Foundation Server
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize work and assess risk
• The ability to contribute in a team environment

 

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

•  Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or a related field. 
•  5 to 7 Years of experience in Software Development
