A niche blend of Data & AI Architecture with recent Cloud experience. As part of our commitment to shaping the future of healthcare, this role focuses on the strategic design and implementation of advanced data structures within highly regulated environments. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our architecture is robust, secure, and ready for the next generation of AI-driven insights. #RDT2026

The Opportunity

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of high-performance Cloud Data & AI solutions, ensuring they align with global Roche standards and business goals.

• Design and optimize complex data structures within the Snowflake environment, leveraging your deep technical expertise to enhance platform performance.

• Architect AI-driven workflows specifically utilizing Cortex AI to streamline data processing and unlock advanced analytical capabilities.

• Navigate healthcare-regulated security protocols to ensure all data and AI architectures meet strict compliance and privacy risk standards.

• Manage C3 data landscapes, focusing on data privacy and risk mitigation to safeguard sensitive information across our global network.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and cross-functional business partners to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical roadmaps.

• Drive technical excellence by staying at the forefront of Cloud and AI trends, continuously improving our architectural posture and operational efficiency.

• Influence the team culture by sharing your niche expertise and mentoring colleagues on modern data and AI architectural best practices.

Who you are

• Educated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (critical requirement).

• Possess 8+ years of experience in IT, with a significant focus on Data and AI Architecture within a complex global environment (critical requirement).

• Demonstrate extensive expertise in designing and deploying solutions specifically within the Snowflake and Cortex AI tech stacks.

• Prove your deep understanding of healthcare-regulated security frameworks and the management of privacy risks associated with sensitive data.

• Showcase recent hands-on experience in Cloud Architecture, specifically managing C3 data environments and architectural risk assessments.

• Exhibit strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical peers and non-technical business partners.

• Act as a proactive problem-solver with a growth mindset, thriving in a fast-paced environment where innovation is key to patient outcomes.
