Store Helper

The Store Helper plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of the store. This position involves a variety of tasks, including assisting with stocking, cleaning, organizing, and supporting sales staff. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and possesses a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

• Stocking and Organizing: Receive, unload, and unpack deliveries of merchandise.
• Stock shelves, racks, and displays with products, ensuring proper placement and presentation.
• Rotate stock to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage (if applicable).
• Organize backstock and storage areas for easy access and inventory control.
• Assist in setting up promotional displays and signage.
• Cleaning and Maintenance:Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
• Dispose of trash and recycling properly.
• Assist with general store maintenance tasks.
• Customer Support:Assist customers with locating products and answering basic questions.
• Provide carry-out assistance for customers with large or heavy purchases.
• Assist in bagging or wrapping items at checkout, if needed.
• Maintain a friendly and helpful demeanor.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
• Report low stock levels to supervisors.
• Help to label products.
• General Support: Assist sales staff with various tasks as needed.
• Follow all safety and security procedures.
• Adhere to store policies and procedures.
• Assist with any other tasks assigned by the store manager or supervisor.
