POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Manager – Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth through effective lead closure, team leadership, and client counseling. The role demands a hands-on sales leader who can achieve individual targets while simultaneously building, mentoring, and managing a high-performing sales team. The incumbent will also be responsible for data audits to ensure CRM hygiene and accurate reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Closure & Revenue Generation
• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead assignment to closure, ensuring high conversion rates.
• Conduct structured follow-ups on inquiries and walk-in leads to maximize closures.
• Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across immigration, visa, and allied service lines.
• Consistently meet and exceed individual monthly and quarterly sales revenue targets.
• Negotiate and finalize service agreements with prospective clients.
Team Management & Leadership
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Sales Counselors / Executives to achieve branch-level targets.
• Conduct daily/weekly team huddles, pipeline reviews, and performance check-ins.
• Identify skill gaps and coordinate with HR/Training for upskilling interventions.
• Drive team accountability on KPIs including lead conversion, revenue per counselor, and attendance.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and ramp-up of new sales team members.
Data Audits & CRM Hygiene
• Perform regular audits of CRM data to ensure accuracy of lead status, follow-up notes, and pipeline stages.
• Monitor and rectify data discrepancies in lead allocation, conversion tracking, and revenue attribution.
• Generate and present weekly/monthly MIS reports to the Branch Manager with actionable insights.
• Ensure 100% compliance with CRM update policies across the team.
Self & Team Target Achievement
• Own and deliver individual sales targets as assigned on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Drive the team towards collective branch revenue goals and ensure equitable target distribution.
• Track daily/weekly progress against targets and implement corrective action plans when required.
• Participate in incentive planning and performance reward discussions with management.
Client Counseling & Relationship Management
• Provide expert counseling to prospective clients on immigration pathways, visa categories, and eligibility criteria.
• Conduct in-depth profile assessments and recommend the most suitable services to clients.
• Handle escalated client queries and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and NPS scores.
• Build long-term client relationships to drive referrals and repeat business.
• Stay updated on immigration policies, country-specific regulations, and process changes.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
