About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Lead Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain modern software artifacts, cloud-native infrastructure and deployment pipelines in the context of IIoT. Automating processes and building reliable, scalable systems is your passion, and you thrive in collaborative environments where infrastructure meets development.

Responsibilities

· Technical driver for software development and DevOps practices within agile software development teams

· Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows

· Build and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes

· Develop automation scripts and tools

· Contribute to application development tasks as needed, leveraging your programming expertise

· Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management solutions

· Collaborate on technical decisions around deployment strategies, monitoring, and observability

· Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across the infrastructure

· Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for infrastructure and processes

· Collaborate closely with development teams, SRE, and platform engineering

· Optimize system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency

· Mentor team members on DevOps practices

Profile

· Min. 10 years extensive experience in software developemt, DevOps engineering and cloud infrastructure

· Independent working style and the ability to work through tasks independently in a structured manner, also as coordinator within the team

· Programming skills in C#, TypeScript and optionally Python

· Expertise with Kubernetes and container orchestration

· Hands-on experience with GitOps workflows (ArgoCD)

· Proficient with CI/CD tools (GitLab)

· Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)

· Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform)

· Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)

· Flexibility to support development initiatives and cross-functional projects

· Documentation skills and attention to detail

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

· Structured, proactive, and automation-first mindset
