Technology Lead in Emerging Technologies (AI, Cloud, Blockchain, IoT)
Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced and strategic Technology to lead and oversee a team specializing in Emerging and Other Technologies. This role involves managing the delivery of innovative technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of emerging technologies such as cloud computing, AI/ML, blockchain, and IoT, contributing significantly to Synechron’s digital transformation initiatives.
Software Requirements
Required:
Proficiency in emerging technologies such as cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), blockchain solutions, and IoT architectures
Knowledge of software development methodologies like Agile, Scrum
Experience with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project)
Familiarity with architecture modeling tools and best practices
Preferred:
Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Data analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Overall Responsibilities
Lead the development, implementation, and management of projects leveraging emerging technologies to drive innovation and business value.
Manage and mentor a team of technical professionals, fostering skill development and a high-performance culture.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to support emerging technology adoption and operational excellence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business units, product teams, and leadership, to align technology initiatives with organizational goals.
Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, evaluating their applicability and recommending adoption strategies.
Drive the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and compliant technology solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Oversee project planning, risk management, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing processes, enhancing automation, and fostering innovation.

Experience managing complex projects, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
Industry experience in finance, banking, or other regulated sectors is advantageous.
Alternative pathways may include extensive hands-on experience with emerging technologies supporting enterprise transformation initiatives.
Day-to-Day Activities
Lead project planning and execution for innovative technology initiatives aligned with business strategy.
Mentor and guide teams on emerging technology adoption, best practices, and technical challenges.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, assess risks, and develop strategic solutions.
Review and approve architecture designs, implementation plans, and technology standards.
Monitor project progress, manage resources, and communicate updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Evaluate technological trends, conduct proof-of-concepts, and recommend scalable solutions.
Drive automation, process improvements, and capabilities development across teams.
Support global initiatives by aligning local projects with enterprise standards and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Relevant certifications in emerging technologies (e.g., cloud certifications, AI/ML, blockchain) are a plus.
Demonstrated leadership in managing multi-disciplinary teams and executing complex strategic projects.
Proven expertise in cloud computing, AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, and enterprise architecture.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to articulate technical strategies to non-technical audiences and influence decision-making.
