Your Key Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Team Leader to manage assembly line operations, ensure production targets, and maintain quality standards. The role involves leading a team on the shop floor, troubleshooting production issues, and driving continuous improvement in SPM manufacturing processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage shop floor manpower in the assigned segment
• Ensure production as per quality standards and production norms 
• Perform line troubleshooting to minimize downtime 
• Monitor and report work orders and production status 
• Handle material movement within the production area 
• Track and report daily scrap / rejection levels 
• Maintain shop floor discipline and 5S standards 
• Work on reducing setup and changeover time 
• Ensure cleanliness and housekeeping of the work area 
• Achieve shift production targets & departmental KPIs

• Team Handling & Leadership
• Assembly Line Operations (WPB / Belt Drive preferred)
• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving
• Production Planning & Monitoring
• Quality Control Awareness
• Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement

Your Qualifications

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7–8 years of experience in manufacturing or production environment.
• SPM Machine Experience
• Prior experience in automotive / assembly line operations preferred
