Job Description
Role Overview:
Responsible for managing spare parts inventory efficiently in a high-volume workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage complete spare parts inventory with proper storage and categorization
Ensure availability of fast-moving parts and minimize vehicle downtime
Place timely orders based on consumption patterns and workshop demand
Maintain accurate stock records and ensure system updates are done regularly
Coordinate closely with Workshop Manager for daily requirements
Monitor inward and outward movement of parts and prevent pilferage/leakage
Conduct periodic stock audits and reconciliation
Ensure compliance with company policies and genuine parts usage
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the parts area
Additional Expectations:
Strong inventory management and organizational skills
Basic computer knowledge (inventory systems)
Attention to detail and accountability for stock accuracy
Experience in automobile spare parts preferred
