Job Description – Accountant

We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and experienced Accountant to manage the organization's day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate maintenance of financial records. The ideal candidate should be proficient in recording daily accounting transactions, maintaining books of accounts, preparing bank reconciliations, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring timely completion of routine accounting activities. The candidate must have sound knowledge of GST and TDS, including return preparation and filing, while ensuring compliance with all applicable statutory requirements. They will also be responsible for preparing books of accounts, reconciliations, financial statements, schedules, and all supporting documents required for Income Tax Return (ITR) filing and statutory, tax, and GST audits, which will be carried out by the company's Chartered Accountant (CA). The candidate should coordinate effectively with the CA by providing accurate records, resolving accounting queries, and ensuring all financial data is updated and readily available. Proficiency in Tally Prime/Busy, MS Excel, and accounting software is essential, along with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently, maintaining confidentiality of financial information, meeting statutory deadlines, and contributing to the smooth and efficient functioning of the accounts department.
