Position SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented HR Manager to lead the complete Human Resources and Administrative functions at our milk processing plant. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, ERPNext-based HR management, payroll, employee lifecycle management, industrial relations, and administration of staff facilities such as quarters, canteen, and security.

  • Key Roles & Responsibilities1. ERPNext HR Module ManagementManage the complete HR module in ERPNext software including employee master data, attendance, leave, payroll, and reporting.
  • Configure and maintain biometric attendance integration with ERPNext for accurate time tracking.
  • Process monthly payroll through ERPNext, including salary structures, deductions, PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and bonus.
  • Handle employee onboarding and offboarding workflows in ERPNext (offer letters, joining formalities, exit clearances).
  • Manage interview scheduling, candidate tracking, and job offers using ERPNext's Recruitment module.
  • Generate MIS reports, dashboards, and analytics through ERPNext for management review.
  • 2. Talent Acquisition & RecruitmentPlan and execute end-to-end recruitment for all departments including:
  • Production (Machine Operators, Technicians, Quality Control, Dairy Chemists)
  • Dispatch (Loaders, Supervisors, Store In-charge)
  • Transport (Drivers, Fleet Coordinators, Logistics Executives)
  • Sales & Marketing (Sales Executives, Distributors Coordinators, Field Officers)
  • Accounts & Finance (Accountants, Cashiers, Billing Executives)
  • Support Departments (Security, Housekeeping, Canteen Staff)
  • Draft job descriptions, source candidates through portals, references, and consultants.
  • Conduct preliminary interviews, coordinate technical rounds with department heads, and finalize offers.
  • Maintain a recruitment pipeline and reduce time-to-hire.
  • 3. Attendance, Payroll & ComplianceEnsure daily attendance monitoring across all shifts (24x7 operations).
  • Process salaries within stipulated timelines with zero error.
  • Ensure statutory compliance: PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Bonus Act, Minimum Wages Act, Factories Act, Contract Labour Act.
  • Liaise with labour department, PF/ESI offices, and local authorities.
  • Maintain all statutory registers and returns.
  • 4. Performance Management (KRA & KPI)Prepare and roll out KRAs (Key Result Areas) and KPIs for all departments and roles.
  • Coordinate quarterly, half-yearly, and annual performance appraisals.
  • Facilitate goal setting, review meetings, and feedback discussions.
  • Drive a performance-driven culture aligned with plant productivity goals.
  • 5. Daily MIS & ReportingEnsure daily reporting is submitted by all HODs — Production, Dispatch, Transport, Sales, Accounts, QC, Maintenance.
  • Consolidate and share daily/weekly/monthly HR MIS with management.
  • Track manpower productivity, absenteeism, attrition, and overtime.
  • 6. Employee Onboarding & InductionDesign and conduct structured induction programs for new joiners.
  • Ensure documentation, ID cards, uniforms, PPE, and system access are provided on Day 1.
  • Assign mentors and monitor 30-60-90 day onboarding progress.
  • 7. Administration of Staff FacilitiesOversee Staff Quarters: allocation, maintenance, hygiene, discipline, and grievance handling.
  • Manage Staff Canteen: menu planning, hygiene audits, vendor management, cost control, and employee feedback.
  • Supervise Security Department: guard deployment, visitor management, gate register, material movement, and CCTV monitoring.
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and orderliness across the plant premises.
  • 8. Employee Engagement & WelfareOrganize festivals, birthdays, safety weeks, health camps, and rewards & recognition programs.
  • Address employee grievances promptly and maintain healthy industrial relations.
  • Promote workplace safety, hygiene, and FSSAI/food safety awareness among staff.
  • 9. Training & DevelopmentIdentify training needs and organize skill development programs.
  • Coordinate safety training, GMP, food handling, and behavioural training for plant staff.
  • Maintain training records and evaluate effectiveness.
  • 10. Policy Formulation & HR GovernanceDraft, implement, and update HR policies aligned with company vision and statutory norms.
  • Maintain employee handbook, code of conduct, and disciplinary framework.
  • Handle disciplinary actions, warning letters, and inquiry proceedings when required.

  • Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or MSW (HR)
  • Experience: 6–10 years in HR, preferably in dairy, food processing, FMCG, or manufacturing plant environment
  • Software Skills: Mandatory hands-on experience in ERPNext (HR & Payroll modules); MS Office proficiency
  • Language: Hindi (mandatory), English (working knowledge), local language (Chhattisgarhi preferred)
  • Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of labour laws and factory compliance
  • Hands-on experience with ERPNext HR, Payroll, Recruitment & Attendance modules
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
