Position Title: Security Guard

Job Summary:

A Security Guard is responsible for protecting people, property, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment. The role involves monitoring premises, preventing unauthorized access, responding to incidents, and enforcing security procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol assigned areas regularly to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and security systems.
• Control access to buildings and verify visitor credentials.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and security incidents.
• Report suspicious activities, accidents, or violations.
• Conduct security inspections and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities and incidents.
• Assist employees, visitors, and customers with security-related concerns.
• Enforce company policies, rules, and regulations.
• Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Strong observation and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Valid security license/certification (if required by local regulations).

Working Conditions:

• May work day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Indoor and outdoor duties depending on the assignment.
• May be required to patrol large areas and respond quickly to incidents.
