Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a sharp, presentable, and customer-focused Showroom Sales Executive to be the first point of contact at our Raipur showroom. This is a 100% inbound role — you will handle walk-in customers and incoming calls and WhatsApp queries on our official number. There is no cold calling involved.
The right candidate builds rapport quickly, learns product categories fast, follows up consistently, logs every interaction, and handles customers confidently — both in person and on call.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome walk-in customers, understand their kitchen or equipment requirements, and guide them to the right product category
- Handle inbound queries on the official phone number and WhatsApp — respond promptly, share product specs, images, and pricing
- Follow up on all open inquiries (walk-in, call, WhatsApp) through a daily follow-up tracker until each query is closed or converted
- Log every customer interaction, inquiry status, and follow-up update into the tracking system daily
- Coordinate with the internal team for quotations, stock availability, and delivery timelines
- Build and maintain working knowledge of our full product range across all categories
- Keep the showroom floor presentable at all times
- Share daily inquiry count and status update with the reporting manager
What We Are Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in retail sales, showroom sales, or any customer-facing role
- Confident communicator in Hindi; able to read, write, and type basic English for WhatsApp messages and documentation
- Comfortable with smartphones — regular WhatsApp use, sharing images, typing messages
- Comfortable with basic data entry in Excel, Google Sheets, or any CRM/ERP tool; daily inquiry logging is a non-negotiable part of this role
- Confident and clear on phone calls — professional tone, active listening, and ability to handle customer queries independently
- Quick learner with genuine interest in building product knowledge across multiple categories
- Presentable, patient, and organised — no inquiry left without a follow-up status
- Prior experience in kitchen equipment, home appliances, HORECA, or hospitality is a bonus — not mandatory
