Job Title: Store Salesman / Retail Sales Executive
Job Location: [RANCHI]

Department: Retail Sales / Showroom Operations
Reports To: Store Manager / Business Owner
Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic, goal-oriented, and customer-focused Store Salesman to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our showroom/store, assisting walk-in customers, explaining product features, answering inquiries, and closing sales. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a welcoming personality, and a passion for deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Customer Service
Greet walk-in customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
Demonstrate and explain product features, technical specifications, benefits, and warranties clearly.
Recommend complementary items or upgraded options to increase average order value (upselling/cross-selling).
Handle customer queries, objections, and pricing discussions professionally.
2. Store Maintenance & Inventory Management
Ensure showroom counters, shelves, and product displays are clean, organized, and properly stocked.
Assist in receiving incoming inventory, checking stock against invoice manifests, and arranging items on racks.
Participate in periodic stock counts and inventory audits to prevent discrepancies or theft.
Identify low-stock items and inform the Store Manager to ensure timely replenishment.
3. Cashiering & Billing Support
Operate cash counter/POS system or generate cash memos and tax invoices accurately when needed.
Collect cash, card, or digital payments and ensure proper reconciliation at the end of the day.
4. Store Discipline & Adherence
Maintain punctuality, proper grooming, and adhere to store dress codes.
Protect store property, stock, and cash registers from damage, negligence, or unauthorized access.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Educational Qualification: High School Diploma / 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent diploma.
Experience: 0 to 3 years of experience in retail sales, showroom sales, or counter customer support (Freshers with strong communication skills are welcome to apply).
Skills:
Good spoken communication skills in local languages and English/Hindi.
Polite, patient, and persuasive personality with a sales mindset.
Good computer literacy
