Job Summary:

We are looking for a result-driven and customer-focused Salesman / Sales Officer to manage our counter sales and Direct to Retail operation (Direct Distribution, B2C). The SM/SO will be responsible for handling counter’s customers, driving sales, and ensuring a smooth in-store experience and Direct to retail (B2C) operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Growth & Target Achievement

Drive sales performance by achieving daily, monthly, and annual targets across Direct to Retail (B2C) and depot operations. Identify new business opportunities to expand market reach.

2. Retail & Counter Sales Operations

Handle direct retail and counter sales efficiently. Attend to walk-in customers, understand their requirements, and recommend suitable products to enhance customer satisfaction.

3. Customer Service & Relationship Management

Deliver excellent customer service, build strong relationships with retailers and walk-in customers, and ensure repeat business through consistent engagement.

4. Route Planning & Distribution Management

Plan and optimize sales routes to improve outlet coverage, ensure timely servicing, and enhance overall distribution efficiency.

5. Outlet Expansion & Merchandising

Increase retail penetration by onboarding new outlets. Maintain proper product display, visibility, and merchandising standards at all points of sale.

6. Stock Management & Replenishment

Ensure product availability and retail levels. Coordinate for timely stock replenishment and implement effective stock rotation to maintain freshness.

7. Billing, Cash Handling & Operations

Manage billing processes accurately and handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining proper records and compliance.

8. Sales Team Leadership

Lead, train, and supervise the sales team, including Salesmen and Driver-cum-Salesmen, to improve productivity, discipline, and service quality.

9. Market Discipline & Store Management

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational discipline across sales counters and retail areas.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in retail or counter sales

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Customer-oriented approach with good convincing ability

Basic knowledge of billing and cash handling

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

Experience in direct sales or retail store operations

Sales negotiation and upselling skills

Knowledge of local market trends

Qualification:

Minimum – Graduation (Any Stream)

मुख्य जिम्मेदारियाँ:

1. सेल्स ग्रोथ एवं टारगेट अचीवमेंट

डायरेक्ट टू रिटेल (B2C) और डिपो ऑपरेशन्स में दैनिक, मासिक और वार्षिक बिक्री लक्ष्यों को हासिल करना। नए बिजनेस अवसरों की पहचान कर मार्केट विस्तार करना।

2. रिटेल एवं काउंटर सेल्स ऑपरेशन्स

डायरेक्ट रिटेल और काउंटर सेल्स को प्रभावी ढंग से संभालना। वॉक-इन ग्राहकों की जरूरत समझकर सही प्रोडक्ट सुझाना।

3. कस्टमर सर्विस एवं रिलेशनशिप मैनेजमेंट

उत्कृष्ट ग्राहक सेवा प्रदान करना, रिटेलर्स और ग्राहकों के साथ मजबूत संबंध बनाना और रिपीट बिजनेस सुनिश्चित करना।

4. रूट प्लानिंग एवं डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन मैनेजमेंट

सेल्स रूट को प्लान और ऑप्टिमाइज़ करना, ताकि अधिक से अधिक आउटलेट कवर हो सकें और समय पर सर्विसिंग हो सके।

5. आउटलेट एक्सपेंशन एवं मर्चेंडाइजिंग

नए आउटलेट जोड़कर रिटेल कवरेज बढ़ाना। सभी पॉइंट्स पर सही प्रोडक्ट डिस्प्ले और विजिबिलिटी बनाए रखना।

6. स्टॉक मैनेजमेंट एवं रीप्लेनिशमेंट

प्रोडक्ट की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित करना। समय पर स्टॉक रीफिल और FIFO (First In First Out) के अनुसार स्टॉक रोटेशन करना।

7. बिलिंग, कैश हैंडलिंग एवं ऑपरेशन्स

बिलिंग प्रक्रिया को सही तरीके से संभालना और कैश ट्रांजैक्शन का सही रिकॉर्ड रखना।

8. सेल्स टीम लीडरशिप

सेल्स टीम (सेल्समैन और ड्राइवर-कम-सेल्समैन) को ट्रेन, सुपरवाइज और मोटिवेट करना।

9. मार्केट डिसिप्लिन एवं स्टोर मैनेजमेंट

काउंटर और रिटेल एरिया में साफ-सफाई, व्यवस्था और अनुशासन बनाए रखना।

मुख्य आवश्यकताएँ:

रिटेल या काउंटर सेल्स में न्यूनतम 2 वर्ष का अनुभव

अच्छी कम्युनिकेशन और इंटरपर्सनल स्किल्स

कस्टमर-ओरिएंटेड अप्रोच और कन्विंसिंग एबिलिटी

बेसिक बिलिंग और कैश हैंडलिंग की जानकारी

तेज गति वाले वातावरण में काम करने की क्षमता

प्रेफर्ड स्किल्स:

डायरेक्ट सेल्स या रिटेल ऑपरेशन्स का अनुभव

सेल्स नेगोशिएशन और अपसेलिंग स्किल्स

लोकल मार्केट की समझ

योग्यता:

न्यूनतम – ग्रेजुएशन (किसी भी स्ट्रीम से)
