Store Manager

Job Summary:The Store Manager – Eyewear Retail is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, and managing staff effectively. The role requires strong leadership, product knowledge of eyewear, and a customer-centric approach to drive business growth and maintain brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:1. Store Operations Management:

• Oversee day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Ensure store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and product displays meet brand standards
• Maintain inventory levels, stock replenishment, and minimize shrinkage

2. Sales & Business Development:

• Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve conversion rates
• Promote eyewear products including frames, lenses, sunglasses, and accessories

3. Customer Service Excellence:

• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and personalized service
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations professionally
• Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business

4. Team Management & Leadership:

• Recruit, train, and supervise store staff
• Prepare duty rosters and manage staff productivity
• Motivate team members to achieve individual and team goals

5. Product Knowledge & Compliance:

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of eyewear products, lens types, and ongoing trends
• Ensure compliance with company policies and retail SOPs
• Coordinate with optometrists (if applicable) for smooth customer service

6. Reporting & Administration:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and inventory reports
• Manage billing, cash handling, and store documentation
• Coordinate with head office for stock, promotions, and operational support

• Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in retail, preferably in eyewear, fashion, or lifestyle segment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Basic knowledge of optical products and retail software/POS systems preferred
