Relationship Manager – Unlisted & Pre-IPO Equity Stellar Orbit LLP / Unlisted Network | Hyderabad
Role Overview
We are building India's leading deal-facilitation platform for unlisted and pre-IPO equity. The Relationship Manager will engage HNI and UHNI clients, advise on curated unlisted equity opportunities, and close transactions — drawing on deep equity markets knowledge and a strong existing client network.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage and advise HNI/UHNI clients on unlisted equity, pre-IPO deals, and secondary market transactions.
- Explain company fundamentals, financial statements, and investment rationale using approved research and deal sheets.
- Own the complete client lifecycle — from first contact through KYC, transaction execution, and post-sale relationship management.
- Source, qualify, and convert inbound digital leads alongside proactive outreach to own network.
- Coordinate with Compliance, Operations, and Accounts for documentation, payment verification, and share transfers.
- Prepare and present deal summaries, confirmation notes, and investment rationale decks.
- Escalate complex technical or regulatory queries to Research or Institutional Desk.
- Adhere to CRM workflows, compliance protocols, and confidentiality obligations.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly AUM and transaction targets.
Compliance & Control Requirements
- All client interactions and documents must be recorded in CRM — no personal WhatsApp or email for onboarding or transactions.
- No promise or guarantee of returns under any circumstances.
- No direct collection or holding of client funds.
- Mandatory compliance training and signed confidentiality agreement.
- Immediate escalation of complaints or suspicious activity.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–8 years as a Relationship Manager or Senior Relationship Manager in equity broking, wealth management, or private banking.
- Demonstrated experience handling HNI/UHNI clients in an advisory or transactional capacity.
- Strong working knowledge of equities, bonds, and listed/unlisted securities markets.
- Prior exposure to unlisted shares, pre-IPO equity, or secondary market transactions in unlisted securities is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of financial statements, company fundamentals, and valuation frameworks.
- SEBI regulations and capital markets compliance awareness.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable with CRM-driven processes and target-oriented environments.
Preferred Background
Candidates from equity broking RM desks (e.g., Kotak Securities, Motilal Oswal, SMC Global, ICICI Securities, Axis Securities), HNI desks at private banks, or wealth management firms with pure-play equity advisory exposure will be given preference. Candidates with existing experience in unlisted share dealing or pre-IPO platforms will have a distinct advantage. Insurance and lending-only backgrounds are not suitable for this role.
Key Performance Indicators
- Qualified HNI/UHNI contacts per week.
- Lead-to-transaction conversion rate.
- AUM / transaction value onboarded per month.
- Time-to-close from first contact to payment confirmation.
- Client retention and post-sale satisfaction scores.
Compensation
Fixed monthly salary + performance-linked variable commission based on transaction value.
