Bartender

Key Responsibilities:

• Beverage Preparation & ServicePrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain consistency in beverage quality and portion control.
• Recommend cocktails, mocktails, wines, spirits, and other beverages based on guest preferences.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards.

Guest Service & Order Taking:

• Welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately from guests.
• Upsell premium beverages, specials, and promotional items.
• Ensure prompt service and guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints courteously and efficiently.

Billing & POS Operations

• Generate and process guest bills using the POS system.
• Handle cash, card, digital payments, and maintain billing accuracy.
• Reconcile daily sales and submit reports as required.
• Ensure all orders are correctly entered into the POS system.

Bar Operations & Inventory Management

• Monitor stock levels of beverages, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies.
• Assist in inventory counts and stock replenishment.
• Minimize wastage and report breakages or shortages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.

Team Coordination

• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth order execution.
• Support restaurant operations during peak hours.
• Participate in training and team meetings as required.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Hospitality qualification preferred.
• Certification in Bartending or Beverage Service is an advantage.
• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and beverage preparation techniques.
• Experience using POS and billing systems.
• Basic mathematics and cash handling skills.
• Good communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Experience:
• Minimum 1 years of experience as a Bartender in a hotel, restaurant, lounge, club, or hospitality establishment.
• Experience in guest service, order taking, and billing operations is preferred.
• Skills & Competencies:Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of beverages and mixology.
• POS billing and cash-handling proficiency.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively.
• Professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
