Job Description
The General Manager (GM) will be responsible for overall business operations of the Escort Kubota Construction Equipment dealership, including Sales, Service, Spare Parts, Customer Relationship Management, Profitability, Team Management, and Business Expansion. The GM will lead all departments to achieve company targets, increase market share, improve customer satisfaction, and ensure smooth dealership operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Operations Management
Handle complete dealership operations independently.
Monitor daily activities of Sales, Service, Spare Parts, Accounts, and Administration.
Ensure smooth coordination between all departments.
Develop operational systems and processes for dealership growth.
Maintain discipline and professional work culture.
2. Sales & Business Development
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Increase market penetration in assigned territory.
Develop strategies for TLB, Compactors, Cranes, and other Escort Kubota products.
Monitor enquiry conversion ratio and sales pipeline.
Build strong relationships with contractors, builders, infrastructure companies, and government customers.
Appoint and manage sub-dealers or channel partners if required.
Conduct market surveys and competitor analysis.
3. Service Operations
Ensure excellent after-sales service support.
Monitor machine uptime and customer complaints.
Improve service response time and AMC business.
Ensure proper workshop management and field service operations.
Maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
4. Spare Parts Management
Ensure proper availability of fast-moving and critical spare parts.
Monitor inventory control and stock aging.
Improve spare parts sales and profitability.
Coordinate with OEM for parts supply and warranty matters.
5. Financial & Commercial Control
Monitor dealership profitability and operational expenses.
Control receivables and overdue payments.
Prepare monthly business reports and MIS.
Improve overall business efficiency and cost control.
Ensure achievement of revenue and gross margin targets.
6. Team Leadership & HR Management
Lead and motivate dealership staff.
Recruit, train, and develop employees.
Conduct regular performance reviews and team meetings.
Set KPIs for Sales, Service, and Spare departments.
Build a target-oriented and performance-driven culture.
7. Customer Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with key customers.
Visit major customers regularly.
Resolve escalated customer complaints effectively.
Ensure high customer retention and repeat business.
8. OEM Coordination
Coordinate regularly with Escort Kubota management.
Ensure compliance with OEM standards and dealership policies.
Participate in OEM meetings, training programs, and reviews.
Maintain dealership branding and infrastructure standards.
