HR & Admin Executive: People Function


We are looking for an HR & Admin Executive to join our growing people function at Alltex Exim Pvt Ltd. You will work directly with our HR Manager on recruitment, employee operations, vendor management, and office administration. This is a cross-functional role that gives you a real seat at the table during one of the most important phases in our company's journey — building our HR systems from the ground up. If you have an HR or business degree, a service-oriented mindset, and the patience to handle a wide variety of work well, we would love to speak with you.


WHO WE ARE

Alltex Exim Pvt Ltd was founded in 2010 in Surat, the textile capital of India. We are an export import house in the textile industry, connecting India's leading mills to global markets and bringing world-class textiles back into India.

We have exported to 13+ markets, with offices in Egypt and Bangladesh. We have 10+ year partnerships with top textile manufacturers across Asia, and today we are one of the largest importers of polyester yarn in the country. Our portfolio spans polyester yarn, cotton yarn, dyed yarn, nylon yarn, PET chips, and many other yarn variants, across 35+ global partners.

We are not a startup. We are a 15-year-old, profitable company now preparing for its next chapter — and our people function is being built fresh as part of that journey.


WHY WORK FOR US:

  • You will work directly with our HR Manager from day one. No layers, no shadowing, no waiting your turn — you will own real work from week one and learn how the senior HR function is actually built.
  • You will see the full spectrum of HR work in a single role: recruitment, onboarding, HR operations, vendor management, employee engagement, and office administration. Most large companies silo these functions; here, you get them all.
  • You are joining at the start of the build. The HR function at Alltex is being designed now. Your fingerprints will be on the policies, the systems, and the way HR runs here for years to come.
  • You will have direct visibility into the business itself — how a textile import-export company operates, how trade and operations work, how a family-led business makes decisions. Few junior HR roles offer this kind of exposure.
  • Strong mentorship from a senior HR professional. You will be coached on recruitment strategy, HR best practices, AI and HR tech, and how to think about people problems in a structured way. This is the kind of mentorship that accelerates careers.
  • A clear path to grow. As Alltex expands, this role grows with the company. Strong performers will move into Senior HR Executive, HR Specialist, or specialised tracks (Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, L&D) within 18 to 24 months.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • Recruitment & Talent AcquisitionSource candidates across platforms (Naukri, LinkedIn, Apna, Instahyre, and others) for both IT and non-IT roles.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and shortlist candidates for the HR Manager and hiring managers.
  • Coordinate interviews end-to-end: scheduling, follow-ups, candidate communication, feedback collection.
  • Manage the candidate pipeline and maintain a clean, up-to-date candidate database.
  • Support offer roll-out, document collection, and pre-joining communication.
  • HR Operations & Onboarding: Run a smooth onboarding experience for every new joiner: documentation, induction, asset assignment, system access.
  • Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, and other operational data in the HRMS.
  • Support payroll inputs, statutory documentation, and full and final settlements.
  • Help organise employee engagement activities, festivals, birthdays, and team events.
  • Vendor ManagementManage vendor relationships across housekeeping, office supplies, IT, AMC contracts, courier, travel, and other operational vendors.
  • Get quotes, compare options, and support negotiation on behalf of the company.
  • Track vendor performance, ensure timely service delivery, and manage onboarding of new vendors.
  • Coordinate with the accounts team on vendor invoices and payment cycles.
  • Office AdministrationOwn day-to-day office administration: supplies, facilities, visitor coordination, meeting room management.
  • Support domestic and international travel logistics for the leadership team and visiting clients.
  • Maintain office records, key documentation, and statutory filings as required.
  • Be the dependable go-to person for the small operational things that keep an office running.


WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 1 to 2 years of work experience. Freshers with relevant internships or strong academic backgrounds are welcome.
  • A degree in HR, BBA, B.Com, MBA (HR), or any business-oriented field.
  • Strong communication in English and Hindi. Gujarati is a plus, not a requirement.
  • Comfort with Excel, Google Sheets, basic computer skills, and a willingness to learn new tools.
  • A service mindset. You take pride in getting things done well, including the small details.
  • Reliability. People should be able to count on you to follow through without reminders.
  • Curiosity to learn. You ask questions, you watch how the senior team works, and you absorb the craft.
