Production Supervisor

Job Title: Production Engineer / Supervisor 

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or related field

Experience: 2–4 Years 

Salary Range: Starting from 18,000/- 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Production Planning & Control 

• Execute daily production schedules and work orders 

• Monitor production progress to ensure timely target completion

• Optimize the use of manpower, machinery, and materials 

2. Shop Floor Supervision 

• Supervise operators and technicians during production shifts

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and process standards

• Resolve line-level issues and offer hands-on technical guidance

3. Technical Coordination 

• Coordinate with maintenance and design teams for smooth workflow • Perform minor troubleshooting and assist in process improvements • Support quality audits and implement corrective and preventive actions

4. Documentation & Reporting 

• Maintain accurate daily production reports and shift logs 

• Record machine breakdowns, downtime, and material consumption • Track data on rejections, rework, and material wastage 

Skills Required: 

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC, VMC, conventional machines) 

• Ability to read and interpret engineering/technical drawings 

• Leadership and team coordination capabilities

• Proficiency in basic computer tools (MS Excel, ERP systems, etc.)

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Previous experience in a CNC machining or mechanical component manufacturing environment 

• Familiarity with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen principles
