📌 Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Stitching Production Manager to oversee our garment manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the stitching floor, optimizing production lines, ensuring high-quality output, and meeting daily production targets efficiently.

👔 Key Responsibilities

• Target Achievement: Plan, execute, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly stitching production targets.
• Line Setting & Balancing: Set up and balance stitching lines according to garment styles to ensure smooth material flow.
• Manpower Management: Handle a team of line supervisors, tailors/operators, and helpers to maximize floor efficiency.
• Quality Control: Implement strict quality checks on the floor to minimize stitching defects, alterations, and rejections.
• Wastage & Cost Control: Monitor and reduce fabric, thread, and trim wastage to keep production costs low.
• Machine Maintenance: Coordinate with the maintenance department to minimize machine breakdown time.
• Reporting: Maintain and submit daily production, efficiency, and manpower reports to the management.

🎓 Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Graduate or Diploma in Garment Manufacturing Technology (GMT), Apparel Production, or Textile Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience as a Production Manager in a Garment Export House or Domestic Apparel Brand.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of line balancing, SAM (Standard Allowed Minutes), and lean manufacturing concepts.
• Machine Knowledge: Deep understanding of industrial stitching machines (SNLS, Overlock, Flatlock, etc.).
• Leadership: Excellent team handling, communication, and problem-solving skills.
