Account Executive (Accounting)

Position SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and responsible Accountant / Finance Executive to manage daily accounting and financial operations of our solar EPC company. The candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting software and strong knowledge of Indian taxation.

• Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting OperationsHandle daily accounting entries (purchase, sales, expenses, etc.)
• Prepare sales quotations
• Generate and process purchase & sales bills/invoices
• Manage purchase orders
• Maintain stock and inventory records
• Bank & Cash ManagementBank reconciliation
• Maintain accurate cash and bank records
• Payroll ManagementSalary calculation and processing
• Maintain salary-related records and documents
• Tax & ComplianceAssist in filing GST, TDS, and other statutory returns
• Ensure compliance with government rules and regulations
• Accounting fundamentals (Journal, Ledger, Trial Balance, P&L, Balance Sheet)
• GST (very important in India)
• TDS & Income Tax basics
• Bank reconciliation
• Inventory accounting
• Payroll basics
• Financial ReportingAssist in preparation of monthly/annual P&L statements and balance sheets
• Monitor expenses and revenue and report to management
• Required Qualifications & Skills Minimum 2 years of work experience in accounting (last company experience required)
• B.Com or equivalent qualification (related to accounting/finance)
• Experience in Tally / Busy / Odoo or other accounting software
• Knowledge of stock management, inventory, purchase & sales
• Good understanding of GST & TDS
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
