Accountant Cum Office Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our diamond and jewelry manufacturing company in Surat.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily accounting records (Sales, Purchase, Journal, Payment & Receipt Entries)
• Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances
• Bank reconciliation and cash flow management
• Prepare invoices, e-way bills, and export documentation
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Maintain inventory records for diamonds, gold, jewelry, and gemstones
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, P&L, Balance Sheet, and financial reports
• Manage payroll, employee reimbursements, and vendor payments
• Work with Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software

Requirements:

• B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or equivalent qualification
• 2–5 years of accounting experience (Diamond/Jewelry industry preferred)
• Good knowledge of Tally Prime, GST, TDS, and MS Excel
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred:

• Experience in diamond or jewelry manufacturing/export industry
• Knowledge of import/export accounting and inventory management
