About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our Honda dealership. The candidate will be responsible for showroom accounting, vehicle sales accounting, GST compliance, customer billing, bank reconciliation, inventory accounting, and financial reporting while ensuring accurate records of all dealership transactions. Automotive dealership accounting commonly includes vehicle sales posting, invoicing, receivables/payables, reconciliations, and coordination with sales and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Record and maintain all accounting transactions in Tally ERP / Accounting Software.

✅ Handle Vehicle Sales Accounting (Cash, Finance & Exchange Deals).

✅ Generate and verify customer invoices, receipts, and payment entries.

✅ Manage Accounts Payable (Vendor Payments) and Accounts Receivable (Customer Outstanding).

✅ Perform Daily Cash, Bank & UPI Reconciliation.

✅ Maintain Purchase, Sales, Journal, Contra & Payment Entries.

✅ Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

✅ Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Insurance & Registration departments for smooth documentation.

✅ Maintain vehicle stock and inventory accounting records.

✅ Handle customer finance disbursement entries and payment tracking.

✅ Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.

✅ Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

✅ Coordinate with auditors, bankers, and tax consultants.

• Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime / ERP Software.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS & Accounting Principles.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Bank Reconciliation & Financial Reporting.
• Knowledge of automobile dealership accounting preferred.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• QualificationB.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in Automobile / Car Showroom Industry will be preferred.
