Cluster Business Head

Key Responsibilities

• Own monthly and quarterly targets for disbursement, book growth, customer acquisition, repeat business, and branch

productivity across the cluster.

• Run a disciplined weekly branch review rhythm covering pipeline, closures, local sourcing activity, competitor intelligence,

staffing gaps, and customer issues.

• Coach Branch Managers and branch teams on business planning, lead quality, conversion, service standards, and local

market execution.

• Ensure healthy business growth without pricing indiscipline, undocumented deviations, weak KYC, poor documentation, or

control compromise.

• Support launch and ramp-up of new branches in the state, including manpower readiness, market activation, and early

productivity stabilisation.

• Escalate critical customer, fraud, staffing, or operational issues promptly and work closely with Head Office, Risk &

Controls and Area Admin to close them.

Candidate Profile

• 6-8 years of experience in NBFC, banking, preferably gold loan, or other secured retail lending; 2-4 years in multi-branch

handling preferred.

• Strong command over branch economics, field sales cadence, team supervision, and branch-level execution discipline.

• Able to lead through Branch Managers while remaining hands-on during launch, stress, or turnaround situations.

• Commercially sharp, process-respecting, target-driven, and comfortable with regular field travel across the cluster.
