Job Description

  • Dispense medicines as prescribed by the doctor.
  • Explain medicine dosage and usage instructions to patients.
  • Maintain medicine stock and inventory records.
  • Check expiry dates and ensure proper storage of medicines.
  • Order medicines from suppliers when stock is low.
  • Prepare bills and handle cash, UPI, and card payments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medical store.
  • Coordinate with doctors and clinic staff regarding medicine availability.
  • Update inventory in pharmacy software or Excel.
  • Ensure compliance with clinic policies and pharmacy regulations.
