Picker / Packer

*Role Summary*

A Picker Packer works in a warehouse, factory, or distribution center to locate, pick, pack, and prepare products for shipping.

*Key Responsibilities*

- *Picker duties*:

- Read order slips, pick lists, or digital orders

- Locate products in the warehouse using item codes or locations

- Check product quantity, size, and quality before picking

- Move items to the packing area using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts if trained

- *Packer duties*:

- Pack items securely using boxes, bubble wrap, tape, and other materials

- Weigh packages and print/attach correct shipping labels and invoices

- Ensure fragile items are packed safely to avoid damage

- Update inventory records and report any damaged or missing stock

*Required Skills*

- Attention to detail for accuracy in orders

- Physical stamina: able to stand, walk, bend, and lift 15-25 kg regularly

- Basic math and reading skills

- Ability to follow safety and hygiene guidelines

- Teamwork and time management

*Work Environment & Shift*

- Fast paced warehouse setting

- May involve day, night, or weekend shifts

- Often target based work

*Common Qualifications*

- 10th pass or higher preferred but not always required

- Prior warehouse experience is a plus, not mandatory
