Job Description

  • Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Obtain quotations and compare prices to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Coordinate with stores, production, finance, and other departments regarding procurement requirements.
  • Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, and documentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement as required.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Resolve issues related to defective or delayed materials.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Prepare procurement reports and MIS as required.
