Job Description
- Core Responsibilities
1) Programming CNC machines using G-code or CAM software (like Fusion 360 or Mastercam)
2) Machine setup & operation: selecting tools, setting speeds/feeds, aligning materials
3) Interpreting CAD drawings from tools like AutoCAD or SolidWorks
4) Troubleshooting mechanical or programming issues
5) Quality control: ensuring parts meet exact specifications
6) Maintenance of CNC routers and tooling
- Skills Required
1) Strong understanding of G-code and M-code
2) Knowledge of CAD/CAM software
3) Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
4) Familiarity with materials (wood, MDF, acrylic, aluminum, etc.)
5) Precision measurement (calipers, micrometers)
- Qualifications
1) Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
2) Hands-on training or certification in CNC machining
3) Experience with CNC routers. (entry-level roles may train you)
