Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Transport Manager to oversee and manage transportation operations across PAN India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling drivers, managing Dispatch Vehicles (DV), maintaining reports, fueling, maintenance, and expenses. A strong background in MIS and dashboards is essential to ensure seamless transport operations.
Key Responsibilities:
● Oversee and manage all transportation operations, including driver management and vehicle dispatch.
● Ensure efficient DV (Dispatch Vehicle) services and maintenance across all locations in India.
● Monitor fueling, vehicle servicing, and overall expense management to optimize costs.
● Maintain and analyze transport-related reports, including vehicle logs, driver performance, and fuel consumption.
● Ensure adherence to transport regulations, safety policies, and compliance standards.
● Develop and maintain dashboards for real-time transport tracking and performance analysis.
● Coordinate with vendors and service providers for vehicle leasing, repairs, and insurance claims.
● Implement cost-effective strategies for fleet management and operational efficiency.
● Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align transportation needs with business objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
● Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
● Minimum of 4+ years of experience in transport management, fleet operations, or logistics
● Strong proficiency in MIS, data analysis, and dashboard management.
● Excellent leadership and team management skills.
● Knowledge of transportation laws and compliance requirements in India.
● Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and transport management software.
● Ability to handle PAN India transport operations effectively.
● Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience in managing large-scale transport networks.
● Hands-on experience with GPS tracking and transport management systems.
● Experience in working with a 3 PL
