Technical Sales Specialist

As a Senior Application team at Vertiv Energy, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and innovative solutions for our Precision Air Conditioning systems. You will collaborate closely with the sales team, addressing customer inquiries and developing new applications to meet specific requirements in the data center and HVAC sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert technical support to the sales team, enhancing their ability to effectively engage with customers, if required heat load calculations and site study along with the team.
• Understand and analyze application requirements to develop tailored solutions for Precision Air Conditioners.
• Respond promptly to technical queries from customers, ensuring clarity and satisfaction.
• Ensure all tenders and RFPs are completed with the necessary specifications and documentation.
• Drive new application development initiatives, focusing on innovative solutions for Precision Air Conditioning.
• Document and capture technical requirements thoroughly to align with customer needs.
• Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to inform strategic decision-making.
• Prepare technically suitable solutions considering competitive landscape and strategic importance of deals.
• Develop and review AutoCAD layouts to support project requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Min. 8 -15 years of relevant work experience in a technical support or application engineering role.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in data center design and HVAC systems.
• Strong ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Knowledge of Data Center Standards is a plus.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with CFD (Computer Fluid Dynamics) simulation is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in HVAC and data center solutions.
• Project management experience is a plus.
