Job Description
Shikha Metals is hiring experienced Sales Representatives to grow our business across Kerala. We're looking for people who already know the steel trade and can hit the ground running — building relationships, generating leads, and closing sales in the field.
What you'll do
- Develop and manage relationships with dealers, builders, fabricators, and project buyers
- Generate leads and close sales for [TMT bars / structural steel / GI & MS pipes / Roofing Sheet]
- Meet monthly sales targets and grow your assigned territory
- Track market prices, competitor activity, and customer demand
- Visit sites, shops, and project offices across your territory
- You must have1–5 years selling steel (TMT / structural / pipes) in Kerala — this is a hard requirement
- An existing network of dealers, builders, or fabricators
- Fluent Malayalam and strong negotiation & deal-closing skills
- Willingness to travel daily across your territory
- Own two-wheeler with a valid license
Bonus if you have
- Working English or Hindi (useful for suppliers and larger projects)
- Understanding of steel pricing and how market rates move
- Experience selling to project buyers and large contractors, not just retail
- Comfort logging leads in a CRM, WhatsApp, or Excel
