Quality Engineer

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer with a strong background in Injection Moulding and New Product Development (NPD). The ideal candidate should be capable of handling quality assurance activities while independently managing new product development from sampling to production handover.

• Key ResponsibilitiesQuality ManagementMaintain incoming, in-process, and final quality standards.
• Analyze customer complaints and implement CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions).
• Conduct root cause analysis using quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, 8D, Why-Why Analysis, Fishbone, and PFMEA.
• Prepare and maintain quality documents, SOPs, inspection reports, and check sheets.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Tool Room, and Dispatch to achieve quality objectives.
• Lead internal quality audits and continuous improvement activities.
• New Product Development (NPD)Manage complete NPD projects from product development to production handover.
• Study customer drawings and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with Tool Room, Production, Purchase, and Vendors during development.
• Plan product trials, sampling, validation, and process optimization.
• Ensure dimensional, functional, and aesthetic quality during development.
• Prepare PPAP, Control Plan, PFMEA, Process Flow, and other development documents.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure on-time product launch.
• Required Skills4–8 years of experience in Plastic Injection Moulding Industry.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance & Quality Control.
• Experience in New Product Development (NPD).
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Hands-on experience with measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, Micrometer, etc.
• Good knowledge of PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, and CAPA.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
