Site Accounting Manager (Udaipur Projects)Position: Site Accounting Manager

Location: Udaipur Project Sites

Department: Accounts & Project Management

Reporting To: Project Manager / Finance Head

Job SummaryThe Site Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing all financial and accounting activities at the project site. The role includes preparation of contractor and supplier bills, maintaining accurate records of project expenditures, tracking material and labour costs, preparing MIS reports and charts, coordinating with the Head Office accounts team, and ensuring complete financial documentation of the project.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesBilling & Payment ManagementPrepare and verify contractor running bills and final bills.
  • Prepare supplier bills and payment statements.
  • Ensure all bills are supported with required documents and approvals.
  • Coordinate with Head Office for timely release of payments.
  • Maintain records of advances, recoveries, and outstanding payments.
  • Accounting & Record KeepingMaintain complete site accounting records.
  • Record all project expenses on a daily basis.
  • Maintain cash book, petty cash, and bank transaction records.
  • Keep proper documentation of invoices, vouchers, purchase orders, and delivery challans.
  • Maintain project-wise and vendor-wise accounting files.
  • Supplier & Vendor ManagementMaintain complete supplier database.
  • Track supplier invoices and payment status.
  • Prepare supplier outstanding reports.
  • Maintain purchase records and material receipt documentation.
  • Coordinate with procurement for reconciliation of supplies.
  • Project DocumentationMaintain daily work progress records.
  • Maintain labour attendance and wage records.
  • Maintain material inward/outward registers.
  • Record equipment utilization and site expenses.
  • Keep all project documents properly organized for audit purposes.

MIS Reports & ChartsPrepare and update:

  • Daily Expense Reports
  • Weekly Financial Reports
  • Monthly Project Cost Reports
  • Supplier Outstanding Charts
  • Contractor Payment Status Charts
  • Material Consumption Reports
  • Cash Flow Statements
  • Budget vs Actual Cost Analysis
  • Labour Cost Analysis
  • Payment Due Schedules
  • Project Progress Reports
  • Dashboard for Management Review
  • CoordinationCoordinate with Project Manager regarding project expenditures.
  • Coordinate with Purchase Department for material records.
  • Coordinate with Head Office Accounts for reconciliation.
  • Support auditors during internal and external audits.
  • ComplianceEnsure proper maintenance of GST-related documents.
  • Verify invoices and statutory compliance.
  • Maintain records as per company accounting policies.
  • Ensure all financial records are updated and audit-ready.
  • Required SkillsStrong knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Experience in project/site accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Charts, Dashboards).
  • Knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime or similar accounting software.
  • Good understanding of billing and vendor management.
  • Strong documentation and filing skills.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting abilities.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • QualificationsB.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
  • 3–7 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, steel fabrication, or industrial project accounting.
  • Experience in handling multiple project accounts will be preferred.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Accuracy of bills and payment records.
  • Timely preparation of contractor and supplier bills.
  • Up-to-date financial and project documentation.
  • Accuracy of MIS reports and management dashboards.
  • Timely reconciliation of vendor accounts.
  • Compliance with company accounting policies.
  • Zero missing financial documents during audits.
  • Effective control of project costs and payment schedules.

Preferred Industry ExperienceCandidates with experience in Civil Construction, PEB (Pre-Engineered Buildings), Structural Steel, Government Projects, Railways, BPCL, IOCL, Industrial Construction, or Infrastructure Projects will be given preference.
