Operation Theatre Technician

We are hiring a trained Operation Theatre (OT) Technician responsible for maintaining NABH standards in OT functioning, ensuring strict infection control practices, and assisting the surgical team in safe and efficient procedures.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare OT as per NABH protocols before every surgery

• Ensure strict aseptic and sterile conditions in the operation theatre
• Sterilize instruments using autoclave and maintain sterilization records
• Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nurses during procedures
• Maintain OT equipment and ensure calibration as per NABH norms
• Follow biomedical waste management protocols
• Maintain proper documentation (checklists, logs, sterilization records)
• Ensure patient safety practices including identification and positioning
• Adhere to infection control policies and hospital safety guidelines

Qualifications (As per NABH Standards):Diploma / Degree in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) from a recognized institute

• Certification in sterilization techniques (preferred)
• Knowledge of NABH protocols and infection control practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred

Experience: 1–3 years in a NABH-accredited hospital preferred

• Freshers with certified OTT course can apply

Required Skills:Strong knowledge of OT procedures and surgical instruments

• Understanding of NABH documentation and audit requirements
• Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
• Team coordination and communication skills
