Store Supervisor

Job Title: Storekeeper

Department: Stores & Warehousing

Location: Mehatpur, Himachal Pradesh

Reporting To: Stores Supervisor

Salary: ₹15,000–20,000/month (based on experience)

Role Summary

Responsible for day-to-day physical handling, recording, and upkeep of materials in the store area — ensuring stock is correctly received, stored, issued, and accounted for.

Key Responsibilities

Receive incoming materials and verify quantity and condition against purchase orders

Update stock records manually or in system after every inward/outward movement

Issue materials to production as per approved requisitions

Maintain proper labelling, binning, and location of all stock items

Follow FIFO discipline during stock issuance

Assist in monthly stock counts and report discrepancies to supervisor

Keep the store area clean, organised, and safe at all times (5S)

Report damaged, excess, or missing stock immediately to the supervisor

Required Qualifications

10th or 12th pass (any board)

1–3 years of experience in a stores or warehouse role in a factory or workshop

Basic ability to read item labels, fill registers, and count accurately

Physically fit for material handling work

Preferred

Local candidate from Mehatpur or nearby areas

Basic computer or tally knowledge is a plus but not mandatory

Experience in electronics or manufacturing stores preferred

Working Conditions

6 days/week, factory shift timings

Standing/walking-intensive role

Must be comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment
