Job Title: Chef – Production & Quality (Farshan & Garam Nashta)

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to oversee the preparation of authentic Gujarati farshan and garam nashta, while ensuring consistency in taste, hygiene, and quality across all outlets. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in traditional recipes, strong execution skills, and a commitment to maintaining high production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and supervise the production of Gujarati farshan and garam nashta items such as gathiya, fafda, sev, kachori, samosa, and other traditional snacks.
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all outlets.
• Follow standardised recipes and cooking processes for uniform quality.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
• Support training of kitchen staff to follow company recipes and quality benchmarks.
• Ensure usage of high-quality raw materials.
• Conduct routine quality checks across outlets.
• Suggest improvements in recipes and product offerings while maintaining authenticity.
• Assist in production planning to meet daily demand efficiently.
• Coordinate with management for smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (5–10+ years) in preparing Gujarati farshan and snacks.
• Strong knowledge of traditional recipes and production techniques.
• Ability to maintain consistency across outlets.
• Good team coordination skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI guidelines preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Farshan brands or sweet/snack chains.
• Formal training in food production or culinary arts (optional but beneficial).
