Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Loading/Unloading: Safely unload incoming deliveries and load finished products onto trailers or rail cars.

Material Transport: Move raw materials from storage to production areas and finished goods to shipping areas.

Inventory Control: Scan, organize, and track inventory using RF technology and assist with cycle counts.

Safety Compliance: Perform daily pre-operation inspections of the forklift (checks, oil, battery), report damage, and follow OSHA/company safety protocols.

Order Picking: Pick, pack, and wrap orders for shipment while ensuring accuracy.

Maintenance: Perform basic, preventive maintenance on equipment. 


Required Skills and Qualifications

Certification: Valid OSHA-compliant forklift certification.

Experience: Proven experience operating sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, or pallet jacks.

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in varying warehouse temperatures.

Attention to Detail: High accuracy in reading orders and scanning items.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with Radio Frequency (RF) scanners.
