Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Haas VMC Programmer & Setter to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in programming, setting, and operating Haas Vertical Machining Centres to produce high-precision components.
Role Overview
- Experience Required: 2 to 3 years of dedicated experience on Haas machines.
- Key Responsibilities: Programming, job setting, and ensuring accurate machine operation.
- Location: C.P.ENGINEERS 471, IND-ESTATE, MAKARPURA VADODARA
- Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming: Develop and modify VMC programs using G-code and M-code. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam) is a strong advantage.
- Machine Setup: Perform full machine setup, including tool changes, work offsets, and fixture alignment specifically for Haas controllers.
- Quality Control: Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using precision tools like Vernier calipers, Micrometers, and Height Gauges.
- Optimization: Adjust feed rates and spindle speeds to optimize cycle times and maintain surface finish quality.
- Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and basic troubleshooting to minimize machine downtime.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or relevant technical field).
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Haas CNC controls and Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) operations.
- Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T symbols.
- Material Proficiency: Knowledge of machining parameters for various materials like metals and plastics.

- Salary: Competitive, based on experience (Typical range: ₹2.5L to ₹4.5L per year depending on location and skill level).
