Production Engineer

We are looking for a Production Engineer to manage and supervise all pipe bending production activities. The person will be responsible for smooth production, machine performance, production planning, maintenance coordination, and maintaining production records. The candidate should have good knowledge of pipe bending machines and be able to improve productivity and efficiency on the shop floor.

• Production OperationsManage all pipe bending production activities.
• Ensure smooth operation of CNC pipe bending machines and other pipe bending equipment.
• Supervise hydraulic press, mechanical press, welding shop, and other production processes.
• Ensure production is completed as per the daily production plan and customer requirements.
• Monitor product quality during production.

Machine Knowledge & Maintenance:

Have good knowledge of CNC pipe bending machines and pipe bending processes.

• Monitor machine performance and identify operational issues.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and machine servicing.
• Maintain machine breakdown records and maintenance history.
• Work with the maintenance team to reduce machine downtime.

Production Planning :

• Plan daily production based on Purchase Orders (POs) and delivery schedules.
• Allocate work to operators according to production requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of production targets.
• Coordinate with stores, planning, and quality departments for smooth production flow.

Production Monitoring:

• Record and monitor cycle time of all production machines, including:
• CNC Pipe Bending Machines
• Hydraulic Press
• Mechanical Press
• Welding Machines
• Other production equipment
• Identify opportunities to reduce cycle time and improve productivity.

Documentation & RecordsMaintain and update production-related documents, including:

• Daily Production Report
• Machine Breakdown Records
• Preventive Maintenance Records
• Machine Downtime Records
• Cycle Time Records
• Production Efficiency Reports
• Manpower Utilization Records
• Shift Production Reports
• Rework and Rejection Records (if applicable)
• Manpower ManagementPlan manpower according to daily production requirements.
• Prepare and manage shift schedules.
• Monitor operator attendance and productivity.
• Improve manpower utilization and production efficiency.
• Continuous ImprovementSuggest improvements in production methods and machine utilization.
• Reduce production losses and machine downtime.
• Improve productivity while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Support implementation of 5S and safe working practices.

Manpower Management Plan manpower according to daily production requirements.

• Prepare and manage shift schedules.
• Monitor operator attendance and productivity.
• Improve manpower utilization and production efficiency
