Job Summary
A Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, building client relationships, and helping the company grow revenue. The role involves communicating with potential customers, understanding their requirements, presenting company services/products, and converting leads into clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation
- Identify potential clients through online research, references, cold calling, LinkedIn, exhibitions, and networking.
- Generate new business opportunities and maintain a sales pipeline.
Client Communication
- Contact prospective customers through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and meetings.
- Explain company services/products professionally.
Sales & Conversion
- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Follow up with leads and close sales deals.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with clients.
- Maintain regular communication with existing customers.
Market Research
- Study competitors and industry trends.
- Identify new markets and customer segments.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain CRM and sales records.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and reports.
- Update management on sales activities and progress.

Experience Requirements
Fresher BDE
- 0–1 year experience
- Internship or sales exposure preferred
Experienced BDE
- 1–5 years in sales/business development
- Industry-specific experience preferred
KPIs / Performance Metrics
- Number of leads generated
- Conversion rate
- Revenue achieved
- Client retention
- Meetings scheduled
- Monthly sales targets
