Client Management

1. Build relationships with client (and various external stakeholders involved in the

3. Capture project requirements, provide clarifications to and seek approvals &

4. feedback (formal / informal) from the client at various stages of the project

5. Ensure proper communication across various external entities in the project (client,

6. consultant, vendors)

Innovation / Creativity

1. Ensure adoption of new & latest technology for production; Ensure maximum use of

2. CNC machines

3. Encourage creativity & adoption of latest technology within the design team

4. Research & study and keep up-to-date on latest technological advances in thematic

5. design & construction

Factory Management

1. Overall production and cost control

2. Generate weekly / monthly production schedule in line with project schedule

3. Review and approve shop drawings prepared by factory draughtsman

4. Ensure quality of finished goods from factory that enables on-time dispatch to project sites

5. Ensure optimum productivity of manpower as well as machines to enhance output from factory

6. Approve material purchase schedule; Approve material requisitions and issue to shop floor

7. Propose purchase of capital goods, including new machines, equipment, tools etc

8. Ensure timely on-site installation of finished goods

9. Ensure smooth coordination with design team and execution team at site on all technical and commercial aspects of the project.

10. Conduct site visits and site audits to ensure execution is as per the approved design

Process Orientation

1. Comply with and also ensure compliance from team members with all SoP for factory

2. processes (incl daily production report, productivity analysis, process improvement

3. initiatives)

4. Ensure contractual terms and conditions are met and approvals are taken from client

5. for additional work

6. Ensure proper documentation in coordination with document controller at HO

Project Profitability

1. Ensure production cost is within the approved budget

2. Ensure productivity of each section in the factory is as per the defined standards of

3. sqft / person (or sqft / team)

4. Prepare bill as per work completion & contractual terms, seek certification from &

5. handover bill to client / consultant; follow up for timely payment

6. Ensure adequate management of outstanding (or receivables) to manage overall

7. project cash flows. Recommend suitable actions to management to successfully

8. manage cash flow situations

People Management

1. Approve manpower budget and schedules; approve manpower selection and hiring

2. for factory

3. Mobilize / demobilize contractual labour as per production plan

4. Review performance and give timely feedback to individual team members

5. Ensure high productivity of individual team members (& also as a team)

6. Ensure high morale of team members; provide opportunities to team members to

7. learn & grow professionally

8. Ensure collaboration and proper communication across various internal entities in

9. the project (management, production, project team, document controller and

10. others)

Factory Administration

1. Track asset movement (to & from the factory) and conduct asset reconciliation

2. Inspire team members to keep factory premises clean and tidy at all times

3. Enforce discipline in workers and staff
