Job Summary

Sri Medha Educational Institutions is looking for a sincere, detail-oriented, and trustworthy Cashier to manage day-to-day cash transactions, student fee collections, and financial records while ensuring accuracy and compliance with institutional policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect tuition fees, examination fees, hostel fees, and other student payments.
• Issue fee receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Handle cash, UPI, cheque, and bank transactions efficiently.
• Verify daily cash collections and prepare cash closing reports.
• Deposit collections into the bank as per institutional procedures.
• Maintain petty cash and record all expenses accurately.
• Reconcile cash balances with accounting records on a daily basis.
• Coordinate with the Accounts Department regarding fee records and student ledgers.
• Assist students and parents with fee-related queries and payment clarifications.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial records and student information.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports.
• Support audits by maintaining proper documentation and records.
• Ensure compliance with institutional financial policies and procedures.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or any equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Cashier or in Accounts (educational institution experience preferred).
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
• Basic understanding of banking procedures and financial documentation.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.

Preferred Candidate

• Age: 22–35 Years
• Immediate joining preferred.
• Experience in educational institutions will be an added advantage.
