Accountant

Job Title: Accountant with knowledge of GST & Taxation.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at AMSI Health and Wellness Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations along with handling all GST-related matters and taxation compliance. The role requires strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws and hands-on experience with GST filings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage day-to-day accounting records, ledgers, and financial transactions
• Handle GST compliance including GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) and reconciliation
• Manage TDS, income tax filings, and other statutory compliances
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and MIS
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
• Ensure timely payment of taxes and statutory dues
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audits
• Stay updated with changes in GST and taxation laws
• Manage payroll and salaries
• Stock management on tally and excel for our business verticals
• Coordinate with mall accounts team and other vendors related to invoices and payments
• Handle a team if required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com preferred)
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, GST, and taxation
• Strong knowledge of GST laws and Indian taxation
• Complete Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and MS Excel
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Ensure error free compliance and reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

• B Com
• CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent qualification
• Experience working in a similar industry

Salary:

As per industry standards (based on experience and skills) within a range of Rs 20000 to 30000 pm
