Civil Site Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Site Civil Engineer to oversee construction activities, ensure compliance with design specifications, and manage site operations efficiently. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities to ensure project completion as per schedule.
• Interpret and review construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards on-site.
• Monitor and report progress, costs, and site conditions to project managers.
• Resolve technical issues and troubleshoot construction challenges.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with local regulations and codes.
• Maintain documentation, including daily reports, material records, and work progress updates.
• Assist in preparing bills of quantities, cost estimates, and material requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants for design modifications and improvements.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience in construction and site management.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction techniques.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other construction management software.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in residential, commercial, infrastructure
• Knowledge of government regulations and building codes.
• Familiarity with site safety protocols and risk management.

Work Environment:

• Site-based role with regular outdoor work.
• May require travel to multiple project locations.
